| Tuvalu 1983: Funafuti. True, there is often not that many meters between the seaside and the lagoonside on the smaller coral islands. Tuvalu is one of the smallest nations in the world, and only a few flights each week arrives here, so the airport doubles as parlament building! I spent four days here during a roundtrip to pacific islands. |
