Turkmenistan 1998: Ashgebad. These photos is actually from a sundaymarket about 10 km outside the capital of Ashgebad. I was in and around Ashgebad for about one week. This former Sovjet republic is lead by an extremely selfpromoting dictator, whose name is shown in large letters on about every official building!
