| Palau 1997: Peleliu. There are still a lot
of old
rusty war junk from 2. world war spread out on many pacific islands,
also here on Peleliu (one of the islands where a Japanese soldier - slow
in the uptake - suddenly appeared from the jungle
20-30 years after the war has ended! I visited three islands in Palau
(independent since 1994). I stayed in the country for about one week. |
