| Maldives 1989: Male. I was here one week staying on three different islands including the capital island Male. The government try to seperate tourist from the locals and Male seems to be the only place where you can get a reasonable contact to the locals - including the woman (it's usually only men who gets a job on the "tourist islands"). |
