Pakistan 1998: Lahore.  A country more varied than most people think. Hunza Valley in Pakistan Kashmir is unbelievable charming. Other places can be quite tough to travel through. Anyhow, even big cities like Lahore can here and there be pretty charming. I have visited the country in 1983 and ii 1998. All in all about three weeks.
